Well, it's been a while since I've posted some info on how things are going. The season on the Bassmaster Elite series seemed to fly by and in the end I finished 56th. My goals for the season were to win Rookie of the Year and to qualify for the Classic. Until the final two events I had a very realistic shot at doing both. A top 12 in my seond tournament on the Elite Series and two other top 40's. Until I visited two fisheries very different from what I'm used to fishing here in the Southeast. No excuses though, I put myself in the right areas to do well, but every lake fishes different. And when things change it's important to understand how these fisheries work so you can make the right adjustments on time. Believe me, I've had a lot of time to think about these two events and what I may have done wrong. All sports require the utmost in mental toughness and decision making, but fishing requires much more in my opinion. In the end, it's what makes it so intriguing.
